We collect information from Clients to enable market surveys and data analysis. This may include:

Analytics and insights generated through the platform.
Optional business profile information (e.g., name, industry).

2. How We Use Your Data

2.1 Consumer Data Usage

We anonymize and aggregate all consumer-provided data to ensure it cannot be tied directly to an individual. This data is used for:

Creating and refining Virtual Personas.
Providing anonymized insights to businesses.
Enhancing the functionality and accuracy of our platform.

2.2 Business Data Usage

We use business-provided data to:

Facilitate the creation and deployment of market surveys.
Generate actionable insights for the business.
Improve platform functionality and analytics capabilities.

3. Data Anonymization and Security

3.1 Anonymization of Consumer Data

To the best of our ability:

All consumer data is stripped of personally identifiable information (PII) and aggregated before being shared with businesses.
No raw, identifiable consumer data is provided to any third party or Client.

3.2 Business Data Security

All analytics and insights generated by Clients are confidential and will never be shared with any third party.

Ego maintains strict access controls to ensure only authorized individuals or teams can view business-generated analytics.

3.3 Limited Data Sharing

When a Virtual Persona is engaged by a business, the name of the business may be disclosed to the User whose persona is engaged. No other identifiable business data is shared with Users.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or share your data with third parties except under the following circumstances:

With Consent: We may share data if you have provided explicit consent.
Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by law or to comply with legal processes.
Platform Operations: Data may be shared internally within Ego to improve platform services or conduct research, but always under strict confidentiality protocols.

Access Your Data: Users can view their Virtual Persona data and insights at any time.
Control and Adjust: Users can provide feedback to refine their persona and enhance its accuracy.
Delete Your Data: Users may request the deletion of their data at any time. Note that anonymized data already used to create Virtual Personas cannot be removed.

6.2 Business Rights

Exclusive Insights: Clients retain exclusive access to the insights generated from their surveys. Ego will never repurpose these insights without explicit permission.
Data Privacy: No business data will be shared with other Clients or third parties.

7. Limitations of Liability

Consumer Data Usage: Ego takes every reasonable step to anonymize data; however, absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed due to evolving data re-identification techniques.
Actionability of Insights: Ego provides insights as-is. Clients are solely responsible for interpreting and applying these insights in their operations.

8. Changes to This Policy

Ego reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through notifications on the platform.
